On arrival trasfer to the hotel at Negombo. Leave for Muthurajawela for a boat ride in the marsh. The marsh offers the opportunity to see and feel the charm of nature in its most pristine form. Also have a look at our traditional fishing gear and craft. Overnight at Negombo.
Following day leave for Kitulgala, where you could challenge yourself to some whitewater rafting down the Kelani River. The Kelani river graded 2/3 rafting site stretches for six kilometers with seven exciting rapids. Alternately you could visit the Beli Lena caves. This is a famous cave where the 12,000 year old skeletal remains of the Balangoda Man (Homo sapiens Balangodensis) were found. Also found here are the waste parts of the food consumed by them. Over night at Kitulgala.
No the next day leave for Ella, your drive today will be very interesting as you will be passing beautiful mountains, greenery, tea plantations and many waterfalls. Arrive at Ella and check in to the hotel. You are free to relax or trek or engage in some adventure activities. Overnight at Ella.
Following day You will be taken on an excursion to visit the water falls. Waraka Ara, Ellawala, Diyaluma will be quite interesting with the opportunity for you to have a cool dip close to one of the falls. Incidentally Bambarakande & Diyaluma, which are 790ft & 560ft respectively, are Sri Lanka’s two highest waterfalls. Return to Ella for Overnight stay.
You will be leaving the beautiful mountains behind and entering the jungles of Uda Walawe National Park in a 4WD Jeep to see our wild elephants on an afternoon safari. Herds of elephant can be seen along the river during the dry season, which is usually between May & September. Visit elephant transit home at Udawalawe, a centre for rehabilitation and re-integration of orphaned wild elephants has beeen set up at Udawalawe N.P. by the Dept. of Wildlife. Overnight stay at Udawalawe.
Discover the historical port city Galle and its Dutch Fortress. The seaside town of Galle is down the South-West coast. you would enjoy with picturesque scenery of, catamarans along the beach, fishermen drawing fishing-nets, coconut palm toddy tapping following the coastline closely for much of the way. Today town has grown greatly and spreads into the hinterland, but the Dutch fortress is the slow-beating heart of Galle’s history. The walled city has stood since the early 16th century, through the colonial period of the Portuguese, Dutch and British and our present times is proclaimed as an Archaeological Reserve and been identified as a ‘World Heritage Site' . Proceed to Mirissa. You can relax to the soothing sounds of the Indian Ocean. Overnight at Mirissa.
Early morning leave for whales and dolphins watching in a boat. Mirissa is one of the best places for whale and dolphin watching and surfing in Sri Lanka

Enjoy your breakfast leisurely and drive along the coast to reach the Galle Fort, famous for the Dutch Fort. The Portuguese came to Galle in 1505, followed by the Dutch in 1640. When Colombo fell to the British in 1796, the fort was handed over & used as an administrative centre, a function which it performs to this day. Proceed to Mirissa.
